Philanthropy/Community Service

Our Sigma Nu chapter takes great pride in giving back to local communities in a variety of ways. For decades Sigma Nu at Arizona State University has loyally raised money, over a million dollars, for the non-profit organization, Childhelp. Our philanthropic efforts double as exciting social events for sororities but also function as an avenue to raise money for a cause we believe in. In the last two years alone, we have raised over $140,000 for Childhelp from our memorable charity events. As for community service, Brothers John Hopkins and Stegner Bell co-founded a non-profit organization on campus, XHunger. Many brothers within the organization hold active leadership roles on the XHunger board, in efforts to contribute to feeding the less fortunate in our communities, who fight with food insecurities. Last semester we packed around 36,000 meals, saving 100 kids life’s from starvation.
