Meet the Team

Brock Blakley - Rush Chair

What’s up fellas,

I am a sophomore double majoring in Accounting and Artificial Intelligence in Business. Originally from Vancouver, Washington, a city located along the Columbia River bordering Oregon, I grew up with a love for sports, playing baseball, basketball, and golf throughout high school. Being from the Pacific Northwest, the outdoors have always been a significant part of my life—whether it's high-altitude snowmobiling, skiing, wakeboarding, or backpacking in the mountains, I’ve always spent my time outdoors.

Over the past two years, I’ve experienced incredible growth and accomplished things I once thought were beyond my reach. Coming to ASU from Washington, I didn’t know anyone, which made it important for me to quickly create a strong community. Joining Sigma Nu elevated my college experience in ways I never imagined. The fraternity’s brotherhood and its commitment to excellence have been instrumental in my personal and academic success. From mentorship in all aspects of life to professional development opportunities, Sigma Nu has provided me with the tools to succeed. This fraternity’s impressive and distinguished alumni network has opened countless doors, helping brothers secure prestigious roles at top companies around the world.

I’m proud to share that with the support of my brothers, I’ve maintained a GPA above 4.0 each semester, received multiple internship offers, and taken on leadership positions across campus. I currently serve as the President of the Leadership Forum at ASU, am a University Certified Tour Guide, and teach WPC 101 as a facilitator. These opportunities have been pivotal in my growth, and they wouldn’t have been possible without Sigma Nu.

I can speak passionately and proudly about the excellence of Sigma Nu at ASU. The fraternity has been named ASU's Fraternity of the Year four times in a row, produced multiple Student Body Presidents, and built a vast network of successful alumni. Sigma Nu also consistently achieves the highest GPA on campus and offers unparalleled social events. Whether you’re looking for academic achievement, professional networking, or an exceptional social experience, Sigma Nu provides it all.

If you’re considering rushing a fraternity this spring, I highly encourage you to join Arizona State’s top fraternity, Sigma Nu. If you have any questions about Sigma Nu, Greek life, or how to get involved on campus to set yourself up for success, I’d love to help. These years are critical to your academic, professional, and social journey, and I’m here to offer any guidance you may need.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to help!

Best regards,
Brock Blakley

Jake Crosby - President

Hello,

I am a junior studying Financial Planning at the W.P. Carey School of Business. I currently serve as President of the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity here at Arizona State University. I grew up just up the road in Scottsdale and graduated from Notre Dame Prep in the spring of 2022. I always knew I wanted to go to Arizona State since I was a little kid. My parents both graduated from Arizona State and so did my older sister. Being close to family took great priority for me as well as building connections and a strong network in the area I want to live in when I graduate.

I was never confident that I would end up in Greek life, however. I had heard the common stereotypes about fraternities and thought I had no place in it. After being greatly persuaded by my mother, who was a Zeta Upsilon sweetheart in 1989, and my uncle, who was a brother of Zeta Upsilon from 1989-1993, I went out to meet the brothers of Sigma Nu on the first night of rush. Through getting the opportunity to speak to many of the members at that first night, I learned about the emphasis Sigma Nu placed on leadership, academics, on-campus involvement, and strong values. After spending a good deal of time at the Sigma Nu events throughout the week, I fortunately received a bid to pledge Sigma Nu. I was honored to receive the opportunity to join such an accomplished and esteemed group of men.

Through a formative and value-based candidate program, I found myself excited and passionate about Sigma Nu shortly after my initiation. A few weeks in, I was appointed as Alumni Relations chairman and later elected as Recorder in the Spring semester. These experiences led to me running for president this past Spring semester, which has already been the greatest experience of my life after just a few short weeks. I am a true believer in the power of Sigma Nu - Zeta Upsilon. I would not be the man I am today without the leadership and values of love, truth, and honor shared by the men around me. I am grateful and honored to be a part of such a great organization.

The best piece of advice I have to offer to anyone even slightly thinking about coming out to recruitment - just come check it out! Put your foot through the doors of all houses and experience the Greek environment. There is plenty to offer. I can definitely assure you, however, you will not regret rushing Sigma Nu.

Brandon Ngo - Vice President

What's up everyone,

My name is Brandon Ngo and I am double majoring in Finance and Business Data Analytics with a minor in Real Estate at the W.P Carey School of Business. I currently serve as the Vice President of Sigma Nu - Zeta Upsilon. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated Valedictorian from Sandra Day O’Connor High School. Picking colleges was difficult for me, I wanted a strong education while I developed my network and built strong connections. More importantly, I wanted to make sure that the university I chose would be the center of memories that I would cherish forever.

Going to Arizona State University has been one of the most influential decisions of my life. A decision that Sigma Nu plays a huge role in. I never really considered joining Greek Life due to the stereotypes and stories that I had heard from my other friends or online. I felt that I wouldn't be able to “fit in'' Greek Life. However, college is a new experience and new set of opportunities that anyone can make the most of - this led me to rush Greek Life. Arriving at the Sigma Nu House as a Freshman, by myself, was very intimidating. The respect and honor they had for their house was admirable. The way the brothers spoke and the respect they showed me as we talked about our life goals and dreams took me by surprise. I knew right away I belonged at Sigma Nu. Thankfully, by the end of rush, I extended a bid to pledge Sigma Nu.

Sigma Nu is more than a Fraternity. Sigma Nu demanded excellence and honor from its brothers. Our commitment to leadership through on campus involvements, community involvement, and philanthropy have inspired myself and countless others to continue pushing the boundaries. I admire each one of my brothers for the success and progress they have achieved during their time in college and I am even more excited to see the values and lessons they learned here to propel them in their post grad life. I am beyond grateful for the opportunities and memories Sigma Nu has given me.

The lessons I learned molded me to be a leader. On campus this last year, I was a Vice President in The Real Estate Club, Sorority Relations, and Director of Internal Operations for USG. My Freshman year, I became a Devil's Advocate, Founding executive of the Real Estate Club, Director of Health and Wellness for USG. Professionally, I currently operate my own Real Estate Business focusing on sales and single family rental management. The summer following my sophomore year I am fortunate enough to have been a Sales/Brokerage Intern at CBRE.

In my free time, I love to be active by going to the gym or playing sports with my friends. In the winter you can find me snowboarding on the weekends. I love traveling and going on adventures, my favorite spot so far is Japan and I am extremely excited to visit Europe.
